Ford unveils the all-new Fiesta, boasting enhanced performance. This compact hatchback features cutting-edge technology and a modern mild-hybrid powertrain, perfectly suited for future needs.
The new Fiesta is built on Ford’s proven B platform, also used in the elegant Ford Puma crossover. Customers can choose between three-door or four-door hatchback models and customize configurations and interiors to suit their individual style and lifestyle.
All models feature a redesigned front end, including a higher hood and a larger grille. The blue oval Ford logo has been moved from the hood to the grille, further enhancing the vehicle’s confident presence.
To further enhance the Fiesta’s sophisticated look, stylish LED headlights are standard, highlighting the striking front design. Standard black-framed taillights add a touch of elegance, while LED taillights with a premium simulated black frame are available as an option.
New power plants with mild hybrid technology

In the new Fiesta range, the EcoBoost Hybrid versions stand out for their efficiency, designed to reduce running costs while guaranteeing the driving pleasure characteristic of this model. The basis of the system is an integrated, more advanced analogue with a belt drive, which replaced the conventional generator, which also works as a starter. Together with an air-cooled 48-volt lithium-ion battery, it stores energy normally lost during braking.
The integrated generator also acts as an electric motor, using stored energy and providing additional torque during acceleration. Regenerated electricity can also be used to power car equipment. The new technology also allows extremely fast activation of the engine in just 350 milliseconds, which can be automatically deactivated at speeds below 25 km/h. speed When you press the clutch, this function is active even with the gear engaged.
The new 1-liter EcoBoost Hybrid engines offered in the Fiesta produce 125 and 155 hp. The average fuel consumption of the weakest version with a 6-speed manual transmission according to the WLTP test cycle is 4.9 l/100 km and CO2 emissions are 111 g/km. Compared to the normal 1 liter 125 HP EcoBoost engine, the Mild Hybrid is 5% more efficient. cheaper and equally less polluting. In urban conditions, this difference is up to 10%.
The optional Powershift dual-clutch automatic transmission maintains optimum engine speed and thus reduces fuel consumption. Less than 12 km/h. speed, thanks to the active automatic engine shutdown system, increases economy in city driving. Driving pleasure is increased by the automatic gearbox’s ability to quickly perform three downshifts. This is especially helpful when preparing to bend over.
The most modest 1-liter EcoBoost engine in the range produces 100 hp. The average fuel consumption of this engine according to the WLTP cycle is 5.2 l/100 km, while CO2 emissions are 118 g/km. The modern engine features a high-pressure direct injection system, dual variable camshaft control and offset piston pin mounting. The ultra-smooth engine comes with a six-speed manual gearbox.
Intelligent technologies that guarantee comfort
The 12.3-inch liquid crystal instrument cluster display now fitted to Fiesta models will give drivers the ability to customize the information displayed, including navigation directions, to suit their needs. They also provide a dedicated area for the most important options, such as driver assistance information.
Among the main new features introduced will be the adaptive cruise control system with Stop&Go function and the road sign recognition system. Working together, they will maintain the selected speed and a safe distance from the vehicle in front. In a traffic jam, this equipment will also automatically stop the car, and when traffic starts to move, it will move it from its place.
Active parking assistance will also help drivers in the city. This system will detect available parking spaces of the right size and automatically vary the car allowing the driver to control only the accelerator, brake and engage the required gear.
The overall suite of technologies to avoid or mitigate collisions includes a blind-spot monitoring system that works in reverse, active braking and lane-keeping systems, and assistance that helps avoid collisions with a vehicle or pedestrian in front.
The new generation of SYNC 3 multimedia equipment offered will allow the driver to control the audio system, navigation and connected smartphones using simple voice commands. Compatible with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto platforms, the technology can be controlled via the 8-inch central touchscreen like from a smartphone.
New Fiesta models equipped with SYNC 3 will now also feature a special alert function to prevent the driver from forgetting a child or pet left in the back seat. This system will activate automatically if the rear door is opened at the start of the journey.
Those who want additional comfort will be able to purchase a wireless smartphone charger and a Bang & Olufsen audio system with 10 speakers, a built-in subwoofer and a 575-watt digital signal processing amplifier.
The even sportier Fiesta ST sedan
Along with the standard versions of the model, the sporty Fiesta ST hatchback prepared by Ford Performance specialists made its debut.
The new exterior design features a more aggressive front end with honeycomb upper and lower grilles and large side vents. The Fiesta ST’s main grille and side intakes are painted in unique Crystalline Grey, while the aerodynamic front spoiler, side skirts, rear wing and diffuser are painted in body colour. From now on, you can also choose the bright green body finish “Mean Green”.
The 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine installed on the car delivers a maximum power of 200 HP at 6,000 rpm and maximum torque available between 1,600 and 4,000 rpm. range, increased from 290 to 320 Nm. The springs that compress according to the direction of the force and the double tube design front shock absorbers allow for extremely dynamic driving, and those who love extreme precision can choose the Quaife mechanical limited slip differential.
